Evening Primrose

USDA Hardiness Zone 4-8

Unusual, extremely narrow gray-green, almost silver leaves are followed by large 3" diameter, lemon-yellow flowers in late spring and into summer. This is a recurrent bloomer. This stunning plant will thrive in dry conditions in a variety of poor to average fertility sandy to clay-loam soils. This prairie native makes an excellent choice for borders, rock gardens and use as a groundcover. Attracts hummingbirds and is deer resistant.
