Epimedium rubrum
Barrenwort
Columbine-like flower is red with a yellow outer edge. Foliage starts the season edged in crimson, and then in fall turns burgundy to crimson. A wonderful groundcover choice for shady areas. Heart-shaped leaves are delicate in appearance, but very reliable and hardy.
