'Visions' is a lovely, compact cultivar which features a foliage mound (to 9" tall) of bronze-green and thick panicles of frosted, raspberry flowers on 12-15" tall stems in late spring to early summer.
Gorgeous with light pinks and whites, and petite enough for the front of a shady border.

Wonderful cut and dried flowers!
The chinensis species is more sun and drought tolerant than other Astilbes, also the last to bloom.
Requires constant moisture to perform at best.
